A neat side note to mention is that all of our Paper Moon sets are drawn and painted on Paper by our players. We allow the ideas and creativity of the kids to shine on stage and because of that our sets are always filled with childlike whimsy and charm that can't be beat!

Am I right for Paper Moon?
Of course you are! Paper Moon provides many performance and growth opportunities for both the passionate actors in the group as well as those kids just wanting to have a really fun time after school!
The theater is a reflection of life, sometimes life enhanced, therefore the theater accepts & needs all types of people, personalities and characters. Bold or shy, dramatic or subtle... We need You! Exactly as you are!
The only real requirements are a true desire to be in Paper Moon, a willingness to participate, and responsibility for your role. With so many kiddos really wanting a spot in Paper Moon, we ask that every player has the WANT to be there and accepts what it means to be part of a theater troupe. It is the responsibility of learning your lines, following directions, participating fully, being willing to try new things, being there & ready when you are needed as you are part of a team that needs you, and behaving appropriately for rehearsals because it’s more fun that way! Above all else it’s about having fun & we have a ton!
Cleverly Disguised Life Lessons
The ability to speak confidently in front of a group is an enormous asset for a child's future - whether for school presentations, job interviews, work presentations, or performance on the stage itself. The ability to think on your feet and come up with creative solutions is useful in all careers and aspects of life. The ability to step into another's shoes, live their life for a moment, & relate to them is a wonderful lesson in empathy.
